Saluki men's golf headed to the NCAA Columbus Regional

The SIU men's golf team -- fresh off capturing the Missouri Valley Conference championship -- found out where it'll play in the postseason.

The Salukis were assigned to the Columbus, Ohio Regional on Wednesday, as the school prepares to compete in the NCAA Division One Championship tournament for the third time in school history.

SIU is the 13th seed out of 13 teams. Play begins May 16th.

The Salukis earned their first trip to the NCAA Regionals since 2019 after claiming the Missouri Valley Conference Championship by 17-strokes, the largest margin of victory for an MVC champ since 2015.
