A southern Illinois high school duo has won a Bassmaster tournament in Alabama.
The organization reports Trevor Wilburn and Kagen Hill from Century High School in Ullin won the Strike King Bassmaster High School Series on Saturday.
Their fish catch total of 19 pounds, five ounces was nearly four pounds more than their nearest competitors in the tournament, which attracted more than 200 teams from 12 states.
