The Carbondale Super Splash Park Outdoor Aquatic Facility is looking to add a new feature.

The Park's Fundraising Committee is trying to raise $32,000 dollars for an aqua climbing wall.

There are two events coming up to help raise the money.

The first is this Saturday. It's called Love at First On-sight. It's a climbing competition from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the SIU Student Recreation Center.

The other is March 22 and 23 during the Touch of Nature Maple Syrup Festival.

In addition to supporting the aqua climbing wall at these two events, donations can be mailed to the Carbondale Park District at P.O. Box 1326, Carbondale, IL 62903.
