Young entrepreneurs will be highlighted this weekend in Marion

Young entrepreneurs will be gathering at the Pavilion in Marion this weekend for the second annual PMR Children’s Business Fair.

This year’s fair will feature eight young entrepreneurs ranging from a face painter to clay and rubber beaders to a gourmet baker.

All entrepreneurs are under the age of 18 and are working on growing their businesses in southern Illinois.

Kids that have businesses are also competing for prizes in areas such as best display and best sales pitch, helping them learn about all aspects of business.

Not only will audience members get to shop the businesses from these creative kids, but they also will help with the judging by voting for a fan favorite booth.

The event takes place on Saturday at the Pavilion in Marion from 10am - 2pm.
