The City of Carbondale announced the launch of its new Parks and Recreation software. The software will make it easier for residents to engage with the community and activities.

With the software, residents can access a more convenient way of searching for and reserving pavilions, shelters, and other community spaces. The software aims to offer a host of user-friendly features and a mobile-friendly interface. Applicants can search for nearby activities, and events, register for programs, and make secure payments from their devices.

The parks and recreation division plans to expand and offer a more diverse array of activities and events for the interests of Carbondale residents. The new parks and recreation software will launch on May 1, 2024.
