In response to the forecasted snowstorm, John A. Logan College (JALC) will suspend all operations on Friday, January 10, 2025, at all College facilities, including the extension centers and Logan Fitness.
However, JALC will proceed with the following planned events:
- Saturday Sign-Up for the Spring semester will occur as scheduled on Saturday, January 11, from 9 a.m. to Noon.
- The First Pitch Fundraiser for JALC Baseball and Softball, featuring Lance Lynn, will be held at 6 p.m. on Saturday, January 11, in the John A. Logan College Conference Center.
- Logan Fitness will operate during regular hours on Saturday, January 11, and Sunday, January 12.
Spring semester classes will begin on Monday, January 13, and the College will extend student service hours from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. through January 16 to accommodate all student needs.
Additionally, due to weather conditions, Logan Fitness' 24/7 access will be suspended at midnight on January 10. A notification text will be sent when 24/7 access is reinstated.
