Now through January 30, Carbondale residents can place their live Christmas tree at the curb for the City to pick up and recycle.

Those wanting to schedule a pick-up, should call the Maintenance and Environmental Services Office at 618-457-3275.

Residents wishing to dispose of their own Christmas Trees can drop them off at neighborhood drop-off sites located at the Public Works Complex on North Michaels Street; Parrish Park parking lot on West Sunset Drive and the Attucks Park parking lot on North Wall Street.

The City asks residents to discard pine rope, wreaths, garlands, and flocked trees.
