Fowler reports mild symptoms, says he'll isolate
Southern Illinois State Senator Dale Fowler has tested positive for COVID-19.
The Harrisburg Republican says he's fully vaccinated and boosted, and is experiencing mild symptoms, but maintains he'll isolate using CDC guidelines to protect others.
Fowler is just the latest in a string of lawmakers announcing COVID infections.
Governor JB Pritzker and President Joe Biden, along with U.S. Senator Dick Durbin, have also announced a positive test in recent weeks.
