U.S. Rep. Bost demands answers on Marion VA service delays

A southern Illinois congressman is demanding answers in response to news reports of veterans experiencing long wait times for service from the Marion VA Health Care System.

Congressman Mike Bost Thursday appealed to the Secretary of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Denis McDonough, for answers and plan of action to eliminate the delays.

The Murphysboro republican says forcing veterans to wait nearly an hour to get the help they need is unacceptable.
