Convicted Murderer Sentenced in Williamson County

A Hamilton County man will spend 65 years behind bars on a murder conviction in Williamson County.

State's Attorney Brandon Zanotti says 38-year old Jack Thomas was convicted in May in the murder of Michael Reed of Marion.
Reed was shot to death in April of 2015, and Jack was arrested in Carmi a few days after. A Williamson County jury deliberated for about two hours before reaching the guilty verdict.
