The Wayne County Sheriff's Office, Fairfield Police Department and U-S Marshall Service are actively searching for an escapee from a work release program.
They say 32-year-old Eric Willett had been serving a five-year sentence out of Wayne County for Possession of Methamphetamine and has a history of Aggravated Battery, Possession of Firearm and should not be approached if seen.
Authorities say contact the Wayne County Sheriff's Office at (618) 842-6631, Fairfield Police Department at (618) 842-2151 or dial 911 if you have any information about Willett's whereabouts.
