A woman is arrested for possessing Fentanyl-laced cocaine and other charges

The Williamson County Sheriff's Office K-9 was able to assist deputies arrest a woman on drug charges.

Just before 11 p.m. on New Year's Eve, Deputies observed a vehicle commit a traffic violation in the area of Interstate 57 and Herrin Road.

After a traffic stop, the driver, Felicia Hill, was discovered to be driving with a revoked license.

K-9 “Roxy” detected the odor of illegal narcotics during a free air sniff of the vehicle.

A probable cause search located two clear viles containing a white rock substance which field tested positive for Fentanyl.

Hill was arrested and cited for Possession of Controlled Substance, Driving While License Revoked, Improper Lane Usage and Illegal Transportation of Alcohol.

The substance later field tested positive for cocaine, in fact, Deputies believe the substance to be Fentanyl laced Cocaine.

The substance is being forwarded to the Illinois State Police Crime lab for further analysis.
