Carbondale United will host a Suicide Prevention & Healing Event on Friday, September 5, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Attucks Park.
The free community gathering will feature mental health resources, interactive activities, youth and family engagement, and wellness booths. Visitors can join art for healing, a “Why I Stay” wall, self-care kit building, and yoga or meditation sessions.
Faith-based support, veteran services, and job and housing assistance will also be available. Registration is through the QR code on the event poster.
