This past year's  pandemic restrictions have increased stress and anxiety for many.  And one local group says horses can help humans recover from trauma, both physical and mental.  Patricia Nardini, Co-Founder and President of Specialized Equine Services says horses are extremely capable of reading our emotions and calming us.

"They know your intent even at a distance.  They connect in ways words cannot express but your hearts can."

<--break->Nardini says Specialized Equine Services in Makanda,  has successfully used horses to treat Veterans, and others, who suffer from PTSD.  You can learn more by browsing to  http://sestherapeuticriding.com/
