Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders will hold a rally this Sunday in Paducah.

Sanders, a U.S. Senator from Vermont, will be at the Julian Carroll Convention Center at 1 p.m. Sunday afternoon ahead of Tuesday's Democratic primary, according to Amy Iddings, who works for the Sanders campaign in Paducah. Iddings said that people who have volunteered for Sanders in Paducah will be given bracelets for early entry.

UPDATE (7:25 p.m.): Doors for the event will open at 11 a.m. Sunday. RSVPs are encouraged at this link.

Sanders' opponent, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, has also been in the commonwealth this week. Clinton has a sizeable delegate lead with only a handful of state primaries remaining, but Sanders has continued to dog Clinton, winning West Virginia and Indiana's primaries in the last couple weeks.

Kentucky's Republican voters cast their votes in March in a presidential caucus won by now-apparent GOP nominee Donald Trump.

We will update this story with more information as it becomes available.
