Red Cedar Trail Challenge, entire month of September.
Along this rugged backpacking trail are ten strategically placed signs. Take a selfie with each password sign and take your pictures to the Giant City Visitor Center for an official Red Cedar patch! Please note that this trail is rugged and can be very difficult. Hikers may choose to walk the trail in sections or all at once. It takes a minimum of seven hours to hike the 12 miles. Trail maps are available at the trail head and the Giant City Visitors Center. Please use insect spray and take plenty of snacks and water!
