The SIU men's golf team found out Wednesday it will compete in the NCAA Regional hosted by Purdue University.
The regional will take place May 13 through 15 in West Lafayette, Indiana.
The Missouri Valley Conference champion Salukis are seeded 12th in the 13-team field, finishing just ahead of Ohio Valley Conference champ Tennessee Tech.
The top four seeds are Vanderbilt, Arizona, Florida and New Mexico.
This is the Salukis fourth NCAA Tournament appearance in the past eight years.
