The leading scorer for the Saluki men's basketball team this past season has entered the transfer portal.

According to 24/7 high school hoops, Ali Dibba, who averaged more than 17 points per game in his first season at SIU, is looking for another opportunity.

Dibba began his career at Chicago State, then two seasons at Abilene Christian, before coming to Carbondale and earning a spot on the MVC All-Conference team.

Dibba joins fellow all-conference performer in Kennard Davis, Jr., as well as Sheridan Sharpe, Antwaun Massey and Tyler Bey who have headed to the portal.

Drew Steffe and Rolyns Aligbe have indicated they are returning to Coach Scott Nagy's squad.
