Illinois Secretary of State Jesse White’s office is offering a new e-mail service for those hoping to restore their driving privileges.
If you’re looking to get your license back, you no longer have to go in and meet with an informal hearing officer to get the process started.
Secretary of State spokesperson Beth Kaufman says now you can just e-mail their office.
"That is going to help keep people out of the facilities and make sure lines are shorter. So, all they have to do is email adminhearings@ilsos.gov."
Once the e-mail is received, customers can expect to hear back within three days. Several other services are also available online at: cyberdriveillinois.com.
