Fired Up Jellies and Jam, a local Carbondale business, will be featured in the Illinois Department of Agricultures, or IDOA, first ever Illinois Product Holiday Box.
The company's strawberry habanero jelly is just one of the nine products being included in the product box. Nuts, popcorn, seasoning, and cheese are just a few of the other products included. The box also includes two complimentary tickets to the Illinois Product Expo next March
Co founder of Fire Up Jellies and Jam, Michael (Smitty) Smith says it's really nice to be included in the holiday box.
The company began forming a relationship with Illinois Product Program in 2020 right before the COVID-19 pandemic. Since then they've been able to cultivate a relationship with the program.
"As you can see from the holiday box, it's a fantastic deal to have them promoting our brands along with all the other great Illinois companies and brands that they deal with." Smith said.
Boxes can be purchased online. Supplies are limited so it is best to order early if you want to ensure your order.
Boxes can be picked up in person at the IDOA building in Springfield, IL for $50 or shipped anywhere in the United States for $70.
