An off-duty Johnston City Police Officer spotted a stolen 1930 Ford Model A being hauled on a trailer behind a blue 2013 Ford Explorer.

Sheriff Diederich said there has been a troubling rise in crime in Herrin over the last decade.

There were no injuries reported.
