Those struggling with utility bills have new options through Ameren's flexible payment plans.
Through March 31, eligible customers with past-due payments can repay 10 percent of their arrears with an established repayment plan. Starting April 1, down payment requirements will revert to 20 to 25 percent of the arrears.
Income-qualified customers may also be eligible for LIHEAP assistance or Warm Neighbors Cool Friends assistance for those not qualified for state support.
