Arrest made in bomb threats made to Continental Tire and two other businesses

A Mt. Vernon man has been arrested for making false bomb reports to Continental Tire, Walmart and Dollar Tree over the past month.

The Mt. Vernon Police Department reports 21-year-old Raymond Needy is charged with five counts of Aggravated Disorderly Conduct.

Police thanked Continental Tire and Walmart for their time and assistance into the investigation.

The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office assisted in this investigation.
