Former Saluki and 2-time U.S. Olympian Deanna Price earned the bronze medal Thursday in the women's hammer throw at the World Athletics Championships in Hungary.

The 2019 world champion finished just behind silver medalist and fellow American Janee' Kassanavoid and gold medalist Camryn Rogers of Canada.

Price is coming back from injuries that hampered her bid for Olympic glory two years ago.
