Neighborhood Alliance Meeting

Carbondale’s annual Neighborhood Alliance Meeting will take place Saturday, February 7, at the Carbondale Public Library. A hybrid event, the meeting can be accessed via a Zoom facilitated by the Library. Registration begins at 9:30 and the meeting starts at 10 a.m., wrapping up by noon.
As usual, many area organizations will give updates on their activities and plans for 2026. Topics to be covered include the Carbondale Community Housing NFP and Find Help, as well as changes at the City. Several representatives from City departments will be available for Q & A.
The meeting is open to all who call Carbondale home. Registration for those who want to access it on line will be available at register.carbondalepubliclibrary.org/NAM.

Women's Health Naturally Expo & Workshops 2026

12th Annual Women's Health Naturally Expo will bring natural healthcare practitioners and providers together from all over the Southern Illinois region in a nurturing environment where they can meet with and help educate people on how to naturally care for themselves and their families. Registration includes: access to Expo Floor; 40+ practitioners/providers; Workshops throughout the day; catered lunch by Branch Cafe & Market; hourly drawings; and closing movement. This event is inclusive, all are welcome.

Maple Syrup Festival

Join us for two full days of family fun at the Maple Syrup Festival! This exciting event has something for everyone, including maple syrup-making demonstrations, guided nature hikes, lumberjack demonstrations, kids’ activities, vendors, artisans, and so much more. Admission to the festival is free, and nearly all activities—like demonstrations, nature hikes, and children’s programming— from 9 AM to 4 PM are included at no additional cost.

Maple Syrup Festival Pancake Breakfast
Enjoy a freshly prepared pancake breakfast served from 9 AM to 2 PM, complete with 100% real maple syrup. Tickets for the pancake breakfast can be purchased in advance or onsite at Freeberg Hall.
