The Carbondale Police Department is hosting an open house this weekend.
Participants will be able to do a walking tour of the facility and speak with members of various departments including Investigations, crime scene/evidence, Patrol, Support Services, and Telecommunications.
There will also be police vehicles on display and a K-9 demonstration. Anyone is welcome to attend and it will not be necessary to sign up for the event.
The open house will be on Saturday, November 4 at the Department of Public Safety located at 501 South Washington Street from 10 a.m. to noon.
