A free, one-hour webinar titled Embracing Your Health: The Importance of Completing a Colonoscopy after a Positive FIT Kit or Cologuard will offer valuable insights into the necessity of follow-up colonoscopies after a positive at-home colorectal cancer test.

The event will be presented by Dr. Blase Polite, a GI oncologist from the University of Chicago Medicine, on October 2, from 12:00 to 1:00 PM CT.

This engaging and easy-to-follow presentation will focus on why completing a colonoscopy is crucial for detecting and preventing colorectal cancer, especially after a positive FIT or Cologuard test.

Dr. Polite will break down the importance of early detection, answer common concerns, and share a real-life testimonial from a patient who benefited from a colonoscopy.

Participants will also have the chance to ask questions live during the session.

The webinar is presented in partnership with leading health organizations, including the University of Chicago Medicine, Penn State School of Medicine, Asian Health Coalition, and Southern 7 Health Department, among others.
