Drug Take Back Drives in Mt. Vernon and Centralia, Illinois

SSM Health in Mt. Vernon, Illinois is hosting a Drug Take Back Drive.

This is in alignment with the United States Department of Justice, Drug Enforcement Administrations National Prescription Drug Take Back Day.

SSM Health's Drug Take Back Drive aims to provide a safe, convenient, and responsible way to dispose of prescription drugs. Safely and responsibly disposing of your prescription drugs can prevent them from being misused or even accidentally ingested.

MedDrop bins, used to collected unused prescription medication, will be located in the Emergency Department waiting rooms of SSM Health ministries in both Centralia and Mt. Vernon.

The Drug Take Back Drive will be running from October 21st through October 27th.
