Carbondale Police are searching for a suspect from a burglary on South Illinois Avenue earlier this month.

Officers responded to a business in the 900 block of South Illinois Avenue regarding a burglary just after 7 a.m. on May 12.
During the investigation, officers learned the suspect unlawfully entered the business twice between May 11 at 9:33 p.m. and May 12 at 2:07 a.m. and stole cash and other property from the business.

Officers reviewed video surveillance from the business and determined the suspect is a 40-50 year old black male wearing a gray hoodie, dark pants, dark Nike shoes and a light colored wide brimmed hat.
