A Murphysboro woman is in jail after being accused of possessing a firearm outside the Jackson County Courthouse.
The Murphysboro Police Department reports officers found 40-year-old Marjorie Parrish in possession of the weapon on Thursday afternoon.
She's charged with Aggravated Unlawful Use of a Weapon, Unlawful Use of a Weapon, Possession of a Concealed Firearm, Making a Terrorist Threat, Threatening Public Officials and Aggravated Assault.
The Jackson County State's Attorney is reviewing the case and could file more charges against Parrish.
