A Randolph County man has been arrested in connection to a fatal crash last summer involving a bicyclist.

The Illinois State Police Division of Criminal Investigation announced the arrest of 36-year-old Corey Minemann of Ruma on two counts of Aggravated Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and Reckless Homicide, stemming from an August 2023 motor vehicle crash in Washington County.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office called in State Police to handle a vehicle versus bicyclist fatal traffic crash on Oakdale Blacktop.

The bicyclist, Randy Love, received fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators were able to connect Minemann to the incident.

He was taken into custody on Tuesday in Randolph County.
