An investigation is underway after a young man was found unconscious and not breathing in rural Jackson County.
The Jackson County Sheriff's Department reports 21-year-old Seth Betts was found along Union Avenue in Dowell at around 1:45 Friday morning.
First responders attempted life-saving measures and Betts was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
An investigation into the circumstances surrounding Betts' death is now underway.
