An arrest has been made in a burglary of a storage facility in Carbondale last week.

The Carbondale Police Department reports 32-year-old Cody McKenzie of Carterville was jailed on unrelated charges. Detectives met with McKenzie and charged him Motor Vehicle theft.

Detectives believe McKenzie broke into the storage facility in the 1500 block of Reed’s Station Road and stole items, including a 2008 white Ford Ranger truck.

The investigation remains active and ongoing.
