Carbondale Police are asking for the public’s help in locating Brian K. Adams, 43, of Carbondale, who is wanted on a warrant for residential burglary and vehicle theft.
Officers responded to a burglary and stolen vehicle report on the 500 block of Deer Trail around 2:19 p.m. on July 9. Investigators determined the incident occurred around 11:24 p.m. the previous night. Detectives identified Adams and Gerald D. Stroud, 40, of Vergennes, as suspects.
Stroud was arrested the same day on East Main Street and booked into the Jackson County Jail. A warrant has since been issued for Adams, who may be in the O’Fallon area. Police have recovered the vehicle and some stolen property.
