Williamson County Sheriff’s Office Investigating Multiple Death Cases

The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating two unrelated deaths that were reported on Tuesday evening.

Just after 9:30pm, the Johnston City Police Department responded to the 1500 Block of Pine Avenue, regarding a 44-year-old deceased male. A person of interest is currently being interviewed by Investigators.

Then just after 10pm, Williamson County Sheriff’s Office Deputies responded to the 12,000 block of Brushy Creek Road in Carrier Mills regarding a 51-year-old deceased female. A person of interest is currently being interviewed by Investigators.

Both cases remain in the early stages of investigation, but law enforcement says there is no ongoing threat to public safety. A person of interest is being interviewed in each of the cases.

Illinois State Police Crime Scene is assisting the Sheriff’s Office in processing evidence.
