A man, wanted an outstanding warrant in Union County, has been arrested in Williamson County.
The Williamson County Sheriff's Department reports deputies spotted Charles Scott walking in the alley near the intersection of Polk Street and 17th Street in Herrin.
He taken into custody without incident for the Union County warrant.
During the arrest, Deputies noticed Scott to be in possession of a variety of burglary tools, including gloves, masks, keys, hand tools, and other items commonly used to force entry into buildings. Deputies also discovered an additional item in Scott’s backpack, which had been stolen.
Scott was also cited for Possession of Burglary Tools, a class 4 Felony.
