Jackson County Historical Society to Host a Live Reading of The Declaration of Independence

A period-themed reading of the Declaration of Independence is planned for this weekend.

The National Society of The Sons of the American Revolution Long Knives Chapter will read the powerful words which led our formal separation from Great Britain. The Jackson County Historical Society will host the event. Join them Saturday, July 1st at 6:30pm at the Riverside Park Band Shell in Murphysboro.
