The search for a missing Carbondale man has come to a sad end after his body was found Thursday by detectives in a wooded area near the 1200 block of South Wall Street.
The search for 27-year-old Linell Gaston included family, community members, Carbondale City staff and numerous emergency service agencies.
Gaston had been missing near the area where his body was found since March 25.
The Carbondale Police Department says the investigation into the cause of death is active and ongoing.
