Three people have died on Franklin County roads since this past weekend.

Before 7 a.m. Monday, the Franklin County Office of Emergency Management and Communications received a 911 call reporting a single vehicle crash on Illinois State Highway 184 south of Yellowbanks Road.

Deputies say evidence shows the vehicle left the roadway and overturned prior to coming to rest. The only occupant of the vehicle, a 64 year-old man, died. The vehicle also contained a dog that appeared to be uninjured.

Late Saturday night, a single vehicle crash on Rend City Road near the intersection of Keller Mine Road took the lives of two teenagers.

Deputies say a 16 year-old male and a 17 year-old male, both of Franklin County, were found dead at the scene.
