Former Carbondale Councilman Pleads Guilty To Resisting A Police Officer

A former Carbondale City Councilman has pleaded guilty to resisting a police officer.

According to online court records, Lance Jack made his plea Monday in Jackson County Court.
Jack has been sentenced to 100 hours of community service, a fine, and 12 months' probation.

Four other charges were dropped. They include DUI, illegal transportation of alcohol, operating an uninsured vehicle and driving the wrong way down a one-way street.

The incident occurred in February 2015.
