In Carbondale, The All Southern High School Theater Project will be performing footloose at SIU next week. It will feature 24 student actors and four interns from nine area high schools and homeschooled students. Some of the students are from Carbondale Community High School, Carterville High School, and Marion High School. Footloose will be the final production for SIU this summer. Performances are at 7:30 p.m. on August 3rd through the 5th and a 2 p.m. matinee on the 6th. Learn more at https://playhouse.siu.edu/

The Olney Arts Council will be having its annual fall festival of arts and crafts on Saturday, September 30, 2023. It begins at 9 AM and ends at 4 PM.
