Brian Bailey is an Illinois licensed funeral director and embalmer. He is a 1988 graduate of SIU – Carbondale, College of Technical Careers - Mortuary Science and Funeral Service program. He has been the owner/operator of Bailey Funeral Home in Vienna since 1997. The ability to dowse (or “witch” graves, as some refer to the process) is a natural rather than learned trait. Brian has utilized his experience in grave dowsing to assist a number of area families, as well as cemeteries, in locating unmarked gravesites. This information has also proven useful for genealogists and those researching family histories. Brian enjoys sharing his gift with others. Many are pleasantly surprised to find that they possess this skill also.
