The Salukis celebrated the MVC Tournament title at Charlotte West Stadium on May 13, 2023.

The Saluki softball team faces host Utah in the NCAA Tournament Regional in Salt Lake City Friday at 2:30 p.m.

It’s the 14th overall NCAA tournament appearance for SIU and the fourth since 2017.

Other teams in the double-elimination regional are Baylor and Ole Miss.

The Salukis fell to the Rebels in a tournament back in February.

A viewing party will be held for Friday's game at Buffalo Wild Wings in Carbondale.
