Saluki Athletics and the SIU Student-Athlete Advisory Committee have teamed up to help those in need within the SIU community.
For two upcoming men's basketball games, fans can donate canned goods or non-perishable food items to the SIU Ticket Office. With each donated item, fans can purchase a lower-bowl corner chairback ticket at a discounted price. All food collected will be donated to the SIU Food Pantry.
Saluki fans will have two opportunities to participate in the food drive, with the first game being this Saturday when the Salukis host in-state rival Illinois State at 6 p.m. The second game will be Saturday, February 17 when SIU hosts current MVC leader Indiana State at 6 p.m.
