SIU Saluki athletic director Tim Leonard talks about a new partnership involving the MVFC, men's basketball and the professionalism of collegiate athletics

A web article talks about a plan in the works for the Missouri Valley Football Conference, of which SIU is a member, and the Summit League, to form a partnership for football.

The Summit League does not play football, but does house four MVFC members in North Dakota State, North Dakota, South Dakota State and South Dakota.

WSIU's Brad Palmer spoke about what this partnership could mean with SIU Director of Athletics Tim Leonard.
