A package of Illinois projects will receive federal funds in areas such as Agriculture, Rural Development, Military Construction, Veterans Affairs and the Legislative Branch for Fiscal Year 2025.
In southern Illinois, the Herrin School District will receive $522,000 dollars to help expand capacity at the district’s pre-K center.
$1 million dollars will go to Southern Illinois Hospital Services to expand the Miners Memorial Rural Health Clinic in West Frankfort to provide improvements in both patient rooms and provider workspace.
