Pinckneyville, IL – Authorities in Perry County are investigating the death of a woman whose body was found in a creek.
The name of the woman found Sunday in Beaucoup Creek south of Pinckneyville hasn't yet been released. The possible cause of death also hasn't been revealed.
The body was found after a caller told sheriff's deputies it was floating in the creek.
