We're starting to learn the names of those involved in last Thursday's massive pile-up on Interstate 57 near Charleston, Missouri that killed six and seriously injured nine others.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports those killed included 75-year-old William Ryan from Pevely, Missouri; 51-year-old Jesse Jimenez and 45-year-old Jose Hernandez, both from Houston, Texas; 30-year-old Joshua Wiggins from North Carolina; 24-year-old Timonikia Coburn and 22-year-old Raina Jamerson, both from Wisconsin.

The highway patrol's list of those involved in the crash involving dozens of vehicles showed most were from outside this area. The exceptions were Aeian Beard from Carterville and Orlando Matthews from Cairo, who both escaped with minor injuries.

The chain reaction crash Thursday morning around eight reportedly occurred in a fog bank along the interstate. It took nearly 24 hours to clear the roadway.
