Jackson County Sheriff's Office: One Killed In Aggravated DUI

The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office reported a UTV crash on October 26, 2024, near Front Street and 25th Avenue along the Levee in Grand Tower. Around 11:56 pm, a blue Honda 4-passenger UTV driven by Rusty W. Huffman, 36, of Gorham, overturned while traversing the Levee.

Passengers included Kayle L. Clover, 29, Nicholas A. Bastien, 31, and Sara N. Bolter, 38.Bolter sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene, while Bastien was taken to a hospital with severe injuries.

Huffman was treated, then detained at Jackson County Jail with charges of Aggravated DUI, Reckless Driving, and Failure to remain at the scene. The Jackson County Traffic Crash Reconstruction team is investigating the incident.
