A Carbondale woman is accused of battering an employee at a local business.

Carbondale police responded to the 800 block of East Main Street early Monday evening.

Officers learned an employee of the business was battered by a customer during a dispute. The suspect left the area prior to officers arrival.

Investigators identified the suspect as 33-year-old Kodi Colbert.

On Tuesday, Colbert was arrested for Aggravated Battery and Criminal Damage to Property. She was incarcerated in the Jackson County Jail.
